I got HIT at NBI

Hi guys!

Earlier today, I went to National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office to claim my clearance. I was there last week to get a renewal, however, I was prompted to return after a week because I got HIT.

Yes, it is the first time I was HIT during their verification process. It was uneasy and I am worried that I will not be able to claim it with no issues.

I came back morning. There were a few people who patiently waited for their priority numbers to be called. I went straight to the claiming section and showed my claim stub. The clerk did the search and... I was issued a new NBI clearance!

The main reasons for the HIT is if you have pending criminal cases or namesake in the system. For namesakes, you will need to wait a week for them to investigate.

I was so happy at last I claimed it successfully. I am relieved that I didn't bother to ask reason why I am hit. I just headed straight home.
