Thank you very much, in the UK the driver sits in the right hand seat of the car - and we drive on the left side of the road. Our roads mostly have a broken white line down the Centre that indicate the divider between traffic going in either direction. In the picture above the pedestrian refuge I was stood on provides a “no mans land” that gap of road in the Centre is not for driving on - cars stick to the left curb of the driver.
