I did some reading here on a place where people gather who dont do it for the state or de baas mostly geeks to the occasional nurrd and standard houseman looking for advice , on about all things that have cables and/or a button on it and some kind of electronflow when connected i suppose.

So i had a bit of an idea. It's for the bedroom but atm i sleep in the living room (... america's freedom crisis) until the addamses are back in belgium for the winter (keep telling them to stay i can manage if i have to but you know these people take like 10 or more meds a day and need checkups and oil replacements all the time, especially for the heart so they cant , and after that its hibernation and raring to go so frankly spoken, every kwh i save they fix that fairly quickly hahah)

well its their house after all - if it were my life on my choices id be living in asia for a loooooong time now

(so its obviously not) i only have it for two days so im kinda figuring out a little but i can say one thing : it works :)

this living room is an isolation void really, if it werent for that gas stove it would be unmanageable (so it might be in winter, luckily THEY are not poor ... no boomers are ... the veranda is like 6m² wall-hole with not even a glass pane/door in between that literally drains the heat in the whole room in 15 minutes the moment that thing turns off on a cold day (ofcourse, we dont get minus 20 here though in the last years actual minus 10 has been observed i think, thats enough to freeze the water on your eyes if im not mistaken)

So for testing i turned the panel on from 8pm til 4am while sleeping and i have to say its like totally comfy if i lay within its zone, for some reason the blanket on the outside doesnt heat up but everywhere my body makes contact its warm. Its a really strange phenomenon but it looks like placement is crucial (and isolation probably even more so up in the bedroom this thing is gonna rock ass , more so since it drew in 8 hours what the accumulator upstairs draws in one ... thats lotsa steak/year)

i assume you dont pay €0,88 per kwh in canada yet either :)

or €2,60 for 1m³ of (natural) gas
