Why cancelling student loan debt is a bad idea

If Biden cancels student loan debt then that would drive up interest rates and force the economy to go into a recession most likely. That's never a good idea. We need low interest rates and people out there working. Having a loan to pay off is a good incentive for people to not stay at home. Unless of course, you're paying them to do that which is another problem entirely.
