walk from Kamiyacho to Roppongi 1-chome neighborhood (in Tokyo)

In between work.
1 hour until the next appointment.
You can go to a café and read a book, but the weather is pleasant, so let's take a walk around.
From Onarimon Station on the Toei Subway Mita Line, I walked in the direction of　Roppongi 1-chome Station on the Tokyo Metro Nanboku Line. Pass by the Dutch Embassy.
This area seems to be dotted with embassies such as Russia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden.
I found it just before approaching the Kamiyacho intersection.
"Old Site Meiwa Great Fire Memorial Tomb"

In 1772, more than 14,000 people died, the Great Fire of Meiwa.
It was written by the chief priest of Komyoji Temple in the back that it was built to commemorate the burned dead.
If you don't have enough time, it's hard to visit places like this.
After crossing the intersection of Kamiyacho, the uphill climb began.
It's a gentle but long slope.
The gluteus maximus muscle is reacting.
When you cross the intersection in front of the Swedish Embassy, in front of you is the Izumiya Hirokokan Tokyo, which was renovated in March 2022.

There are about 30 minutes left.
Since it was a big deal, I decided to go in.
A luxurious one-story building built in Izumi Garden.
You can feel the power of the large folding screen located right after entering.

Under the title of "Antiquities Aiyaku," various collections of the Sumitomo family, such as picture scrolls, ink paintings, and ceramics, were on display.
From here, it takes about a 2-minute walk to Roppongi 1-chome Station on the Tokyo Metro Nanboku Line while connecting to an escalator.
With good use of the slopes, a lot of greenery is planted.
Small flowers were also carefully planted.

The impression is that there is no omission in the details.
Around here, it is a place called "Hills", so there are quite a few ups and downs.
Casual walks can be fun sometimes.
Even though it was a walk, it was an area that was worth walking.
