Teachers on strike from January 14th
The United Union of Education, Science and Culture of Kosovo has made a decision since January 14 to enter general education strike. The strike will be of indefinite duration, while they are seeking a review of the payroll law, which they are seeking to raise salaries for teachers by 30 percent.The strike decision was taken at the extraordinary meeting of SBASHK's board of directors, which has just ended. The mayor of this union, Rrahman Jasharaj, said that from January 14, the strike starts every day from 9am to 12pm for all strikers of all shifts.
