"THOSE who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; BUT THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE STRONG, AND CARRY OUT GREAT EXPLOITS."
Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)

• Those who know their God shall be strong. The strength comes through your covenant relationship with God, which was established in Christ Jesus.

  • Lacking in the knowledge of God makes you lose God's backing, and be a prey in the hand of the ENEMY:
"MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. Because you have REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I also will REJECT YOU from being priest for Me; BECAUSE YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE LAW OF YOUR GOD, I also WILL FORGET YOUR CHILDREN" (Hosea 4:6 NKJV).
    READ: Ephesians 1:17,18
  • When the covenant you had with God is violated, the devil, the archenemy of the Believers, would like to take an advantage of it and have an access into your life and prevailed.
  • What will keep you is, your walk in the covenant relationship you had with God.
    a. You should know the terms of the covenant you had in God, and walk, or live, according to the terms (Joshua 1:8; James:22,25).
    b. Remember, If the covenant is broken or violated (Ecclesiastes 10:8); you could be a prey in the hand of the enemy—the devil.
    c. Covenant is your sanctity, it secures you from the enemy's attacks.
    d. If you hide under the covenant, you will not be drowned in life.

• When you abide in the covenant, you will have the backing of God to resist the devil, his cohorts, and humans who had sold their souls to him (Psalm 125:2; Ephesians 6:13).

  • The power to resist is found in the covenant stand, the relationship and fellowship you established with God through Christ JESUS:
"THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER; THE RIGHTEOUS RUN TO IT AND ARE SAFE" (Proverbs 28:10 NKJV).
    READ: Ephesians 6:11-13; James 4:7
  • When you are in God, living in line with His Word, according to the instructions given you in His Word; you will do EXPLOITS—resist the opposition:
"THEREFORE SUBMIT TO GOD. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU" (James 4:7 NKJV).
  • There are battles which the devil brought your way that can only be won through your covenant stand with God.
  • Your covenant stand with God determines your strength, how strong you are, which also determines your resistance to the opposition.
  • The flesh will fail, or disappoint, you; but help comes through your stand in God—your relationship and fellowship with God (Romans 8:8,9,13,14).
    READ: Psalm 121:1,2

• The people who know their God shall be strong.

  • If you wanted to know God, you will live and relate to Him with all your heart; and that Through Jesus Christ: "THAT all should honour the Son just as they honour the Father. HE WHO DOES NOT HONOUR THE SON DOES NOT HONOUR THE FATHER WHO SENT HIM" (1 John 2:23 NKJV).
    READ: John 5:23; 15:23; 1 John 4:15; 5:1).
  • Relating with God will cost you something. Knowing Him intimately will take a quality amount of your time; time invested in praying, studying, and waiting on Him.

• Take these steps:
(i) Read and study the Bible regularly (James 1:22,25). Ponder or meditate on whatever you have read in it. And ask questions from the Holy Spirit, about the passages you have read in the Word.
(ii) Pray often, that is, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
(iii) Fasting. Without fasting, you cannot subdue the Flesh and be deeper in God.
(iv) Be Flexible in God's hands. Be willing to do whatever He may want you to do without hesitation.
(v) Focus on God. Let Him dominate your thoughts, AND be part of your daily activities. God will not go beyond your yielding! You set the ball rolling, and God will take over from you.

• When you had the heart for Him, you are thirsting and panting towards Him, He will reveal Himself to you (Psalm 42:1).
READ: Psalm 25:14

  • All you need which are in line with God plans for your life, shall be given to you ((John 15:7)—If you did know Him and walk in the light of His Word (James 1:25).
  • When you started the journey of knowing Him, you cannot back out from it. God will not lose His grip on you, when you initiated a walking with Him:
"BEHOLD, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; FOR I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU UNTIL I HAVE DONE WHAT I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU" (Genesis 28:15 NKJV).

• God's friend (Isaiah 41:8; James 2:23).

  • When you chose to know Him intimately; you become God's friend and confidant, and He would establish His covenant with you (Genesis 18:17-21).
  • His secret, hidden things of the Kingdom, would be revealed to you—as a friend of His:
14 YOU ARE MY [Jesus] FRIENDS IF YOU DO WHATEVER I COMMAND YOU. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; BUT I HAVE CALLED YOU FRIENDS, FOR ALL THINGS THAT I HEARD FROM MY FATHER I HAVE MADE KNOWN TO YOU" (John 15:14,15 NKJV).

• The journey started with the desire to know Him:
1 AS the deer PANTS for the water brooks, SO PANTS MY SOUL FOR YOU, O GOD. 2 MY SOUL THIRSTS FOR GOD, FOR THE LIVING GOD. When shall I come and appear before God?" (Psalm 42:1,2 NKJV).

  • The thirst or desire to know God, or know Him the more, put you in the group of those who want to have an access to a deeper revelation of the Kingdom of God.
  • If you chose to walk on this path, which is a rare path, you will become a blessing to many people—joy of many generations (Isaiah 60:15).
  • With such a choice, you may not be able to do many things that others in the world do, or what some Believers do; but you will be one of the icons in God's Kingdom.
  • You become a legend in God's Kingdom! Your life would affect other people positively! Eternity will be your reward! There will be a place for you in God's eternal Kingdom (John 14:1-3; 2 Timothy 4:7,8).
  • This path is treaded only by the few who determined to deny themselves of worldly Gain and pleasures:
24 IT was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, REFUSED to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 HE CHOSE TO SHARE THE OPPRESSION OF GOD'S PEOPLE INSTEAD OF ENJOYING THE FLEETING PLEASURES OF SIN. 26 HE THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER TO SUFFER FOR THE SAKE OF CHRIST THAN TO OWN THE TREASURES OF EGYPT, for he was looking ahead to his great reward" (Hebrews 11:24-26 NLT).
    READ: Matthew 7:13,14

• The reward of such a person is much more in heaven than the earth (Matthew 5:11,12; Philippians 3:20,21; 2 Thessalonians 1:7).

  • God might not allow such a person to be decked with the things of the world that can weigh them down and cause them to derail (Luke 21:34; Hebrews 12:1).
  • Do you want this path? If you you do, God would help and uphold you, to stand in your resolve:
13 “YOU can ENTER God’s Kingdom only THROUGH THE NARROW GATE. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is WIDE FOR THE MANY WHO CHOOSE THAT WAY.
14 BUT THE GATEWAY TO LIFE IS VERY NARROW AND THE ROAD IS DIFFICULT, AND ONLY A FEW EVER FIND IT."
    Matthew 7:13,14 (NLT)

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Whatever hold of sickness on your life is broken now in Jesus' name.
  • You are completely made whole in Jesus' name.
    Peace!
