Ron threw the phone in the pond. Ducks circled the formed ripples as they searched for bread. Dissappointed there was no bread to sample the search was abandoned.

Circumstances had accumulated throughout Ron's life, leaving him a disadvantaged curmudgeon. It does not pay to be good was his self-diagnosed conclusion. Over the years he had come to the realize that bad things happen to good people; it did not matter how good an individual was.

The thought of his phone was long gone as more pressing matters weighed heavy on his heart. italic Don't die on me old timer.italic Benjamin looked up italic Don't let him dieitalic he prayed. Benjamin did his best to stay calm.

Paramedics sprang out of the ambulance. This was not their first day on the job. Ron was placed on a stretcher and carried to the ambulance.
