I just returned from Nizhny Novgorod. I really liked the city, architecture, views of the Volga and the Oka. Я только что вернулась из Нижнего Новгорода. Мне очень понравился город, архитектура, виды на Волгу и Оку.
The days were hot and maybe that's why we did not get very many birds, even gulls. But I drew attention to images of birds in sculptures, monuments, tiles, paintings and even in flower gardens. Дни были жаркие и, может быть, поэтому птиц нам попадалось не очень много, даже чаек. Но я обратила внимание на образы птиц в скульптурах, памятниках, изразцах, росписях и даже в цветниках.
Going to look at the Pechersky Ascension Monastery, we did not expect to see there decoration of flower beds and lawns in fashion trends. There were many interesting conifers, drooping trees, wonderful roses. Идя посмотреть на Вознесенский Печерский мужской монастырь, мы не ожидали встретить там оформление цветников и газонов в модных тенденциях. Там было много интересных хвойников, плакучих сортов различных деревьев, чудесные розы.
But now I want to show a bird decorating one of the flower beds. The bronze sculpture of the peacock continued with a bright flower-bed in the form of a peacock's tail. Но сейчас я хочу показать птицу, украшающую один из цветников. Бронзовая скульптура павлина продолжилась любовно высаженной яркой клумбой в форме павлиньего хвоста.

In my opinion, it turned out very nice and beautiful. Someone else decorated the crown with a lily flower. По-моему, получилось очень мило и красиво. Кто-то ещё и корону украсил цветком лилии.
