In my first post for this project I told the steemit community about my idea: Helping people on the streets with steem!

 

The idea is simple: We are trying to raise money (i.e. steem) for people on the streets that need some support.

Every week at payout, I am converting the steem that we raised to € and giving it to those people.

 
We raised about 2€ in the last post. So this is what I had in my hand (and of course one 🧡😊)

It wasn't very long before I encountered the first people asking for some support.

I saw this old man on the corner of this street who had a sign and a cup. He was busy talking to someone. Immediately when I saw the first person to give the funds to, I wondered: Who should I give the money to?!

Should the money go to the first people I encounter? Or should I choose people who fulfill a certain criteria? Should I give people money who seem to have a drug addiction problem? Who has a greater need?

It seems to me that it is unfair to decide for myself. Does the community have an answer? How should this work?

I would appreciate some input 👍
