Second post for today, related to @tattoodjay, this one is for "Street Art"
This is the more or less finished work
For more than a week, using the NARROW one way Hilliard Street
Just a block from my building, this was in the process of being
Created.
Approaching today
Several days ago at one point the artist (who is doing this with
Spray cans) was working alone with a step ladder
Then a couple of days later, there were several people seated
On the opposite side, smoking pot (I could smell it, made me
Want to stop and ask for a hit) listening to music, but also had
A video camera on a tripod. I saw all this when I got up to the
Intersection
When a panhandler came up to my window, insistently (read
Ignoring my signs of NO I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY) signaling
Me to roll down my window (then I REALLY got a whiff) he had
A quarter (25¢ coin) in his hand, saying "come on man, I know
You got a quarter" He was on two crutches that were way too
Long. I'm sorry, this is exactly the reason I DO NOT CARRY
CASH MONEY...EVER. (I was actually afraid, since those other
Young men, high on pot were sitting right there)
Across the street on the side of another building is this

That’s cool art thanks for sharing with us I just saw it now
Some people f these street beggars may be truly needy but many here are just trying to milk sympathy and can be very shady that’s part of why I very rarely do give cask I do donate sometimes to charities that help homeless and needy
If I get the urge to give something to someone who appears to be in need I normally will offer food not cash
