Streemit.Online is Now Version 0.0.4

• SSL has been implemented on site, Secure free encrypted streems
• Streeming, Deposits and INSTANT SBD Withdrawals are Enabled
• Streem listings have been tweaked to immitate Steemit.com posts
• Private unlisted 2-way streem rooms for VIP users now working

While under development ANYONE who signs up gets instant VIP features access!
(VIP features will be available afterwards for $1 SBD / month afterwards)

What's Left to be Implemented?

• Adding STEEM in favour of SBD tipping (possibly both)
• Multi user video streeming rooms / public video chat for the network
• Contacting Steemit Inc to inquire about Streemit embedding implementation
• Start developing a new HTML5 video Streeming client & improved mobile
• "Instant" SBD / STEEM deposits to take advantage of the fast confirm times

Proposed Infrastructure Improvements

The Streemit.Online server may need to be upgraded. Originally the intention was to run the steemd wallet on another server but given security concerns over broadcasting the JSON to the remote wallet server I opted to host it on the web server with it's ports blocked so no one can access it from the outside. If the new version 0.14.4 hardfork doesn't lower RAM usage the server will need to be upgraded.

Our Streeming server appears to be powerful enough for the time being. However close attention to the streem quality and availability will be exercised to ensure we have enough resources server-side to serve all requests.

Looking for Streemit Sponsorship

Have you more SBD or STEEM than you know what to do with and wish to help support the ecosystem by aiding the various services popping up on the network? Streemit.Online costs just under $200 USD a month to run currently and given it's a non-profit taking minimal fees in an attempt to cover server costs any sort of sponsorship or donations towards operating costs or development time are greatly appreciated!

Currently I've still got roughly 1 more month of funds saved up to run the site given on the original announcement. My hope is to find a project sponsor before it becomes an emergency. Eventually once my witness rises to top 19 it's hoped that the compensation for that will float the project.
