Meet The Tadpole
That's me on a rock.
I've been quite sick for many years and am really trying to recover now and start living a bit. I've been majorly screwed up to the point that my life as pretty much disintegrated. It's hard to rebuild without any help, but I'm really trying.
I've had a massive amount of nasty luck over the last few years, but I keep trying... almost every day I try as hard as I possibly can. I normally stay in a decent mood, if not downright silly. I get on a rip, or I used to... I call it the Tom Waits Radio Show Hour. Nonstop nonsense that's hilarious.
I'm something like a broken homesteader. I can make so much. I am a gardener and did gardens for hire, as well as my baking. I am a fish keeper, Newt keeper, Nature lover, Sun bather... barefoot all around peaceful nice person and I'd love it if other people were the same. They are sadly not. Mostly.
I make pendants to sell currently. I have an Etsy page where I don't sell much. I sold on a facebook page but the admin kicked me off for no reason at all. I got along well and was polite and nothing but what I should have been, so now I am really feeling it as far as sales go. I'm out of work due to being ill. Things have been incredibly hard. People say they couldn't do it, but would they lie down in the mud and wait for winter to come and freeze to death? You do what you have to.
Here is an unfinished pendant I'm working on now.
I've sold plants in the past, lots of nice Pistou Basil plants that look like tiny hedge trees.
I am a photographer and I live on a mountain right now.
I'm going to update and post more, or a series of posts... It's very late and I need some sleep!
Nice to be here, I'm new, so take it easy on me for a while! :)
That pendant looks pretty cool, nice work. Just out of curiosity what did you use for the bubbles?
Good luck on this site and with yourself.
Thanks so much! Positivity right?!
I usually make everything myself, but those bubbles are amazing! The bubbles I got on ebay. They're just glass from here: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575213843&toolid=10001&campid=5337944892&customid=&icep_item=201625078680&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg
I forgot to mention parts of the pendant glow in the dark. They look a lot nicer in person and after I fill it with clear resin. I'll post some glow pictures and the finished piece in the future.
Thanks for the comment. :)
oh, ps. if you want to check it out I have a page of other pendants on FB...
