"Free Dog" - A Story in 50 Words

It was a good home. The mom and dad were kindhearted and generous with treats. The little boy was energetic and always up for a game of fetch. They would make some other dog very happy but Scruffy needed to be free. His heart belonged to those dangerous, beautiful streets.

This story was based on the random word "free". I thought about it from several angles but this one resonated most with me so I went with it.
