False words from governments.

I believed in politics and changed my life to not support any.

Near the year 2005, the President of the Republic, made a proposal where the Government was going to support people with the intention of creating microenterprises.

I worked as an advertising designer in an advertising company. I had the illusion of being able to create my own advertising company, where the government could give me a loan to set up a store and buy the printing equipment.

I wrote in the Mission of Micro-enterprises of the Government and followed with judgment a group of talks on Socialism and Micro-entrepreneurs. I collected all the documents to do the procedure. When I thought I was ready, with all the papers in my hand, I went to Banco Industrial, the entity in charge of collecting all the documents.

I arrived at the bank with a mind full of questions and very full of emotion to start a new project. This was a bank I had never attended in my life. When I had my turn in front of the promoter who was going to receive my documents, when I greeted her, the first thing she did was ask my ID number as a citizen. I gave it to him and seeing that he wrote it on the keyboard, I imagined he was going to ask for my personal information. Surprisingly, I immediately gave my full name. Excited that without understanding, I was in the database of the bank, she asked me ...

  • You are in the SUMATE database. Do you sign the referendum against the Bolivarian government?

Totally impressed by what he told me, and he agreed that it was true, I just answered ...

  • Good morning. What can we do for you? (The promoter told me)

  • I came to bring the documents for the Microenterprise Mission project. (My mind emptied and I'm totally blank)

The promoter, took the folder and began to review all the documents one by one, explaining that it was good or missing. The talk was completed for a long time. Only one stamp was missing in a document to validate it. I asked him to take that stamp to the entity that had asked me and then I returned all the documents.

Everything he told me was entered by one ear and left by the other. All the questions I had vanished and I just had to look at it.

When we finished, I just thanked him, I shook his hand and proceeded to retire from the bank. When I was in front of the doors of the bank, the depression seemed to affect me and I could not contain the tears.

That morning was when I made the decision to emigrate from the country and go to look for another opportunity outside of my land and that same day I started the process to emigrate to Mexico.

My life changed when I trusted the promise that when I went to look for her, I felt that they welcomed me with a kick and forced me to change my life. Believing is not always for the best and if it can change your life.

These are words that you imagine that at some point you will say after supporting but the reality is different; the dictatorship makes you suffer until killing you.
