The tale of two wicked friends; Leke and Ade. EP12

Leke sat opposite Agolo; a man whose violent nature was known throughout the kingdom of Ake. Agolo sighed deeply and said, "It will cost you."

Leke smiled at him, "I didn't ask you to do it for free," he replied.
He put his hand into his wrapper and brought out a bag of cowries-the money used at that time-and from his waist purse brought out 2 pieces of gold and 2 pieces of silver which he added too.

Agolo eyes nearly popped out. He had never expected this much for a job that won't take an hour to complete. He looked at the money and looked at Leke, who grinned evilly.

"Get it done soon. The harvesting season is just around the corner," he said and stood up leaving the surprised Agolo to stare at his stroke of good luck.

Agolo had done a lot of jobs, not even as simple as this one for a lesser amount of money, "but this one," he thought to himself, "must be done with precision and expertise." He grinned wickedly, picked up his lot and retired to his inner room.
