The Coloured Edition Of A Psychedelic Tale(original story and drawing)

„Is thinking only a reorganisation of the information that is already stored within you?" the pink princess thought. Maybe this process of neatening the own image of the world is repeated in countless incarnations until finally this existence reveals the hidden secret of life. Or maybe there was no such thing, no final answer, only the process of viewing an always changing world with an eternally changing mind. Maybe there was a rhythm everything followed. Of course she knew about the golden ratio and the fractal geometry. Could this principle also be applied to the thinking processes happening within her consciousness?
She followed that thought reminding different conversations she had had within the last week. In an odd way the topics that had been discussed in one talk also appeared in the other. Even if she herself had not started talking about it. It was like the theme of a great symphony which is only alluded in some movements but always of subtitle presence to the listener.
Now of what shape was this mental information which melodically haunted her mind? Mostly boring and unremarkable nonsense she had to admit. Last week for example she had had a conversation with her friend the rainbow-coloured frog(he was not rainbow coloured for real, but he could change his colour to all shades of the rainbow and since he was of enormous pride he liked to be called this way). Now what can be the most boring theme amongst two creatures whose most significant features were their colours? Of course: The frog always tried to imitate the pink colour of the princess while talking with her. Soon he asked her if her parents are of similar colour or if her colour had been a mixture of the two colours of her parents. When she told him that she knew nothing about her parents except that they had been king and queen of the Painted Lands he got very angry with her because he assumed she did not want to share the secret of her colour with him.
The same topic appeared all the week with different dialogue partners. All of them seemed to have a sudden interest in the origin of the pink princess’ colour. The princess herself had never been interested to find out about why she was pink. Every creature in the Painted Lands was gaily coloured, so to her it was no topic of discussion. What was colour anyways? But the more often she was asked about it and the more often she had to query this knowledge gap mentally, the more she felt like the information was somewhere inside her mind already and that her surrounding tried to remind her in something that she had forgotten. All her dreams flushed in her own shade of pink and she was about to go crazy because she could not find the answer. Then the big relief: she reminded that she did not even have any answer to the most significant question of life, so this little gap in her mental information storage was only the tip of the iceberg of her own ignorance. Keeping this in mind the topic did not appear in any conversation with her friends again and the world of her dreams got back its fancy colours.
