Our Little Miss Eniola (Part 1)
Steve lived in a comfortable house in Victoria Island in Lagos with his wife and two children. He worked at the consulate of the American embassy and was a very diligent man who was passionate about his job and his family.
He was a doting father to his two children, Kate and Mike and a loving husband to his wife Cecilia. Steve took particular pride in his job because it provided well for the family he loved dearly.

His two children attended one of the best schools in the city and he made provision for just about everything they needed. Steve was a good husband, a good father and a competent worker who wa well loved by his boss and collegues.
But in his effort to provide unsparingly for his family, he spent too much time at work nd not enough time at home. And although, he did not know this, his family suffered gretly for it.
Eleven year old Kate loved her father dearly and cherished the Sunday evenings he didn't have to be at a business cocktail or on the road with his boss.
It was on such Sundays, that he will get to teach little kate that he will teach her how to ride a bike and play scrabble and basketball.
Kate regretted that her father wasn't around more to do things with her, yet she loved her father more than she loved her mother. [To be continued]
