Emyls and the Mirror (Part 11)
The King was holding a feast to celebrate the conquering of twelve lands and everyone was excited about it. People came from all over the place, the young and old, men and women, boys and girls, the rich and the poor, and even kings and queens were there.
Only Emyls was left out, he was on his knees scrubbing floors, because he had been kind to a strange old woman. When the banquet was over, Emyls had to clean up the hall and the grounds used for the feast. He cleaned and cleaned until his musles were screaming from pain.
His stomach too, screamed from hunger but there were only left overs, those that were fit for dogs.
Emyls life in the palace was no different than a dog's life. Emyls prayed for better days, but things only got worse.
One day Emyls brought out all the Prince's horses from the stable so he could clean the stable. When it wa time to groom them, he found out that one horse was mising.
He searched all over the palace grounds but couldn't find the horse. He finally went to the Prince.
He shouldn't go back to the prince when he couldn't find the horse. 😂 😂
but that is not an option because there is nowhere he would run to, that he would not be found.
