Open a bittrex account pay the steem in to that convert it to bitcoin and then you can sell your bitcoin...but bitcoin is better than cash so keep it as bitcoin or steem.

Because I got steem power people with high steem power pay out better when they upvote. But inaccurate voting can lower your steem power and taking money out lowers it too.
