I always find myself thinking that I am not as good as others and that i dont have the basic skills.

Yes, please don't compare yourself to anyone else. Remember, every expert has always started out as a beginner. No one simply starts out with immense success and fame (not even born into it). It's all about consistency and keeping at it. Even super talented people never reach their full potential because they may perhaps not be passionate about their talent or they may not care to reach their full potential.
