So this morning my husband was the victim of a hit and run, fortunately there wasn't too much damage done to the car but we decided that because we need to probably get a case number for the insurance to fix the damages that we would report the incident...

My husband goes to the police station just to be told that because he didn't get their particulars and only has their license plate there is nothing they can do to help him. They can't open a case or anything...

So my husband, obviously upset that no justice will be had then rephrases what he was just told and asks that if he were to write off the car outside and then run away that they could do nothing. Obviously just as a very angry statement to show them how stupid that law is. Obviously because he said that he was then threatened by the police...

Yep. What a lawless country we live in...
