''THE UNTOLD LOVE STORY OF A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATTLE IN MARAWI CITY''

I had a former workmate who lived in Mindanao and gave my cellphone number to someone I did not know and he suddenly texted me with Hi! I was surprised to receive a txt from someone, which is an unknown number and I asked him where did he get my cell phone number and he answered it came from her cousin who was my workmate before in korean school, and then I become comfortable with him and I was asking about what is his job and , I was surprised when he said he was a soldier, I can not believe that I am talking with an army with a troop which is being assigned in Marawi city which is where the battle is still ongoing on that time. and we became good friends and he often called my cell phone. during our conversation, I heard a variety of sounds like gunfire, barrels, cannon, fighter plane bombs and so on, no matter how busy he is at least how hard their life in Marawi city he will give me time to call my cell phone to talk to me.

we become close friends, After a month, He was asking me if I have a boyfriend and so I answered him honestly that I'm single I had a break up two years ago after a ten years relationship . and he told me that he's going to court me and I answered him not yet because we're not yet completely know each other. and I do not know who you really are, to make the story short we were officially together last August 10, 2017.

Even though he is tired from work, he still calls me even at night.Even though he is in a hurry to call me at night because his cell phone is very bright and his location is visible to their enemies where they are hiding, all of which bring good relationships to the two of us. Finally, the war ended in Marawi city that reached five months at the mercy of the god nothing bad happened to my boyfriend, The president of the Philippines gave them a vacation for 15 days. to have some rest and spend time with their family.

So he decided to meet me here in Cebu.He arrived last December 1 2017. I felt nervous but excited at the same time since finally, I will meet him in person.until he arrived at the airport and went to SM city Cebu where we would meet because his aunt also picked him up, at the time when I was waiting for him, to meet him personally at the lounge traveler I did not know what to do. I feel uneasy and uncomfortable . and then he came and he suddenly hugs me and kisses my forehead. I felt shy of course, but he makes things easier to me and he made me feel relax and comfortable. until his aunt came to pick him up and he introduced me to his aunt and they were very friendly and kind. He brought me to his aunt's house and I tried to take him home to introduce him to my parents, I was nervous that my parents would not like my boyfriend, But thanked god he was liked by everyone because of his personality. He stayed at home for 14 days. We are happy in those days, they were the days that I will never forget. We are so in love .

until my boyfriend needs to report in Marawi City for work. I felt sad and lonely but thats reality , I missed our time together and our bonding everday , to take a stroll to the SM seaside, and going to IT park together with my parents.

The day came when they were given a christmas break, he visited here in cebu city again to spend christmas with me and my family . It was a memorable one . even a single gold cannot afford to trade my happiness. He stayed here for 8 days . we had quality time and spend new year together.

until he went back to work again . that's my lonely day in my life because we're far from one another, but even though we're miles away our communication is there by video calls and sending messages.

We have confidence and trust with each other I know this relationship will work. I promise God that I will love him honestly and faithfully. So I do not believe that in this world there is no forever, we will have a long and good relationship forever despite the distance .It's just one thing I can say to all LDRs , don't think negatively, because the Lord is always there to guide and protect the relationship, as long as we do not forget him. I'm also grateful for steemit because it's gives me the opportunity to share my experience and it maybe a great help from other people.
