Still - Part 2
STILL - PART 2
There were no people making a line for the confession. She was just alone. The priest on the other side was silent until she seated.
"Good day Father," her voice was shaky, as she could hardly mumble a word. Yet, she still talked.
"It's you again Alea. But your voice now sounds different than the other days."
The priest easily recognized her for she was her frequent visitor. At first he was reluctant to receive her for she never started her confession by way of the proper etiquette of confessing. That was at first, but it changed momentarily for she spoke with innocence and purity of heart at all times.
"I am now expecting another moving story of your life Alea that I must hear with my soft heart." the priest said.
"Father, I feel now the push of this world. It seems like it is not contented to treat me as a trash of the society, it seems like it is now getting rid of me and wanted me to vanish right away," Alea weakly said with the loneliest tone of her voice that she never did.
"This world was created to embrace, nature, feed and to be a home of mankind. Its existence is for every human being and what you said is not its purpose," said the priest with a soft and caressing voice.
"Father." And there was a sob.
"I am afraid that this would be my last confession. I encouraged my mind and heart father to live longer but my body never understands me. Father, this confession that I will confess to you is the reason of my strength to live until this day."
There was a long silence. The chirping of the birds inside the cathedral was never heard again.
"Alea, you are now different from the other days. Anyway, I am excited and full eagerness to hear your confession," cheered the priest.
Again silence invaded the room until it was broken by a sigh. Alea began her narrative confission.
