What is a teddy bear?

in #story6 years ago

Which child did not have one or two teddy bears? I had it, he is now. I did not part with him, he knew all my secrets and secrets. The teddy bear is very special because he is more than a toy, he is a companion. He has remarkable qualities, he is compassionate when needed, and he knows everything about us, including our deepest thoughts. He is our closest friend. Have you ever thought about your teddy bear? I'm sure it was. The teddy bear, cute and pleasant, brings joy and happiness to our lives. I slept with him, walked, fed. He is now kept as a memory with a stitched grandmother's ear and buttons with buttons.

This toy was created by Margaret Stiff in 1902. Since then to this day, teddy bears are still in great demand. They provide an unbreakable connection with childhood, charming and associate with many characters. Soft teddy bears are the best friends, and by the way, each of them has its own differences.

Given their enormous popularity, it is difficult to imagine that teddy bears were at risk of disappearing. The period from 1965 to 1979 was catastrophic for producers of a teddy bear, for a number of reasons dozens of traditional toy masters left the business. The future of the teddy bear began to look unstable.

First, during the children's boom, the company expanded to meet the needs of the growing population, but birth rates began to fall, so they had to shrink production. Secondly, toys were bought by parents or grandparents, but by 1965 the client base had changed. Instead of teddy bears, the children were fascinated by the toys that we imposed on advertising.

Third, by the year 1965, very few companies continued to focus exclusively on teddy bears or plush toys in general. Many of them also released puzzles, games, toys and dolls.

The fourth reason was the emergence of multinational toy companies. The toys that were in high demand at the international level were manufactured.

Fortunately, companies that survived the traumatic time in the history of the teddy bear continued to produce it. And as a result, the sale of the teddy bear again took its rightful place in the world of toys.

By the way, in the company Steiff in Giengen-on-Brenz, Baden-Württemberg in Germany, the owner of Margarete Steiff, manufactured toy animal stuffed. Her nephew Richard Stiff was an artist who painted pictures of animals that created scarecrows. In 1902, Richard visited the Stuttgart Zoo and drafted a Bear Bear sketch. The company began to produce toys in its design, so the German bear was born. In 1903, at the Leipzig Toy Fair, Steiff sold 3000 bears to an American toy dealer, and by 1907 Steiff had sold 974,000 bears.

This toy is still in demand. Did you know that collectors of bears are called arctophiles? The word comes from the Greek "arcto" - "bear" and "philos" - a lover. Bears are not just a toy for children, bears are used as mascots by many organizations or corporate gifts and in many cases. There are clubs of Teddy Bear, and some organizations even arrange annual conventions to arrange a holiday in honor of these attractive souvenirs.

The bear has reached his 106th birthday, it's a beautiful mature age, but we all know that he will live forever. I never thought that a cute teddy bear, my favorite toy has such a long and interesting story.

You know, I have a little daughter. She is 2 years old. I don’t know why, but she loves teddy bears. She never part with them. I don’t know how she differentiates, but most of all, she loves toys from the UK toy shop. Children somehow understand the quality of toys or something like that. I don’t know why, but she really likes all the toys from this store.
