The cloud was turning black, the temperature was getting unbearable for even an adult. There sits a little boy in the front of a store, who was totally homeless, the cloth he was putting on look worn and tattered, one could easily tell he has been days away from the shower. The name of the helpless boy is Bade, he has been the unmerited victim of the harsh circumstance of life.

He has been living on the street like this for the past 6years of his life, he will be 18 very soon but it seems his troubles multiply with his age. Suffering would have been a better world to use in qualifying his station in life if he every gets supports, but it seems the earth has neglected him, he fled from his parent home when poverty has crippled all his parent hope on him, and among his relatives they look like a rejected stone, seeing his parent looks like a task for him, for their look reminds him of endless pains and agony he will have to bear.

Bade has been a wise kid since the age of seven, he took into reasoning the day to day happening in his surroundings and is always prodding on how to get solutions, which he most times get but could hardly implement. He made up his mind one day not to live like his parent and flee the house in the middle of the night, his parent did the little within their reach to find but gave up even with a mixed feeling that a part of their burden is gone, or how do we say this when 1 out of 11 children is gone. The parent moved on with their impoverished life and Bade made the street his home.

The basic needs of man food, shelter, and cloth all of these became an antagonist to Bade, a little child who just fled from home with little or no experience about the outside world made the front store his shelter, the night his cloth and hope are what he eats.

Bade had dreams but lives in the reality of hardship, he had to wake up very early in the morning before the store owners resume duty. He wanders on the street and forages for sellable on the dungeon. He had big dreams, there was a day he walks past a big factory in a suburbs and hopes he could be the factory owner and watch the worker striving for his own course, but there he finds himself with a sack filled with scraps and his few tattered clothes. He use to hear there are some people who help the less privileged but it seems that is just a theatrical assumption because he never found help.

Another time he moved with his sack, past a high school and saw student trolling out of the school gate and wish he could be among the numbers, something tap in his head and he recollects how his father once said the school is not for all and that his children can succeed without it because he himself never attended one, but Bade has seen many persons who were educated and their lifestyle is a dream to him, he wonders if poverty is what is parent are leaving as a legacy for him because to him it seems they are making no effort to ameliorate the harsh bite of life they are receiving. He just stood there and got carried away by the wind of thoughts until he heard a passersby yelling at him to steer clear of the road.
