It is so true what you say in the novel, people work so hard for a tomorrow, which may never come, that they forget to enjoy the time they have now, when they are still young and healthy. You never know what will happen tomorrow, and your plans can evaporate like mist before the sun. (I have seen people saving for when they retire to tour the world, only to find there partner die or become to sickly to tour.

That's one point I wanted to really get acrossed in the story. So many of us put our dreams on hold for the "golden years". From what I've experienced the concept is a fallacy. It may've been true for the Baby Boomers but not any longer. It's best to live a more balanced life and check off those bucket list items.
