Once up a time in a kingdom ,there lived a king with a beautiful princess . She had just come of age to be married and her father decided that onily the royal and famous man would do for his daughter ,because she is so beautiful .so he invited all the noble prince, and famous men to meet his daughter.
The king set out the best food, drink and furnished everywhere to display his wealthy for the occasion.
On the first day of the event a beggar from the village limped to the gate with his crutch and knocked on the door,the guard saw the beggar and shout at him ,and said there no space for a pauper like you, Go away! Don’t you know today all the nobles in the entire kingdom are gathered to meet the Princess who is to be married.”

but the beggar continue to knock .The guard irritated and shouted out him again
“What do you want? Didn’t you hear what I said?”
“I am here to meet the princess.” After a while of the Beggar knocking and the guard ignoring the guard finally gave up and let him in. The Beggar walked in limping on his crutch till he entered the center of the crowd. Everyone stared at this odd spectacle till the father saw the Beggar and demanded to know what he is doing there where only the finest were invited.

The beggar replied “I am here to meet the princess.” The whole crowd bursted out laughing at him for thinking he could meet the beautiful princess when he was such a lowly subject.

In the higher rooms as the princess was getting ready to meet her guests she heard the noise of the laughter and asks her maid what it was both the maid and the princess went downstairs to find the beggar in the center of the crowd being laughed at and taunted.“

What is this?” asked the princess then turned to the beggar,” Is there something you need?”

The beggar looked into the princess’ eyes with a look of earnest on his face. “I have seen you in town and watched you unnoticed and have fallen in love with you. I have come to ask you to marry me”, replied the Beggar. The whole crowd laughed again at the beggar’s expense “Are you crazy!? She is the beautiful princess how could she marry you, a beggar?”
The princess looked at the beggar for long time and then said “yes I will marry you.”
The Beggar smiled “I will be back to get you in a year and then we will be married.”
After the Beggar left the crowd praised the princess “You are so clever! You tricked him by telling him what he wanted to hear so that he would go away.”
She shook her head, “I meant everything I said I am to marry him.”
The father refused to believe that his daughter would marry the Beggar. But the princess stayed true her promise to marry the Beggar and did not encourage any of the suitors.
Her father soon grew furious with her, “You are going to marry one of these royal men not a Beggar!”
As the year went on, he belittled her and tried to manipulate her to marry another man but she stayed true. For a whole year this happened to the poor princess and she soon grew sad and lonely but still waited for her groom.
Finally the end of the year arrived and the princess looked out for the beggar’s return. Her father scorned her “He will not come for you, you foolish girl!”
The very next day a grand company of people dressed in fine clothes playing trumpets arrived at the Princess’ home announcing the King of the Sky. Everyone ran to courtyard to meet the King struggling to look presentable. The Princess dressed and already ready for her groom stood in the front as the King walked towards her. Her father jumped in front of him and says “I am so pleased that you have arrived. If I had known you were to come I would have made a grand feast for you” The King showed him no recognition as he walked past him to his princess, “I have come, my love, to marry you.”
Later, at the celebration of the marriage of the Princess and the King, the princess’ maid asks her, “how did you know the Beggar was the King of the Sky?”
The princess replied, “ When I looked into his eyes I knew he was my King and that I would love Him for ever
