HOW A MAN BECAME PREGNANT.

I have always known that women get pregnant and give birth. But i like to tell you a story about how a man called Mr Toitoise got pregnant.

A very long time ago , there lived MR and MRS Tortise . They couldn"t have a baby so they went to a herbalist . The herbalist said that they should come the next day . Mr tortoise came alone the next day and the herbalist gave
him tortise a pot of soup which should make MRS tortise pregnant.

MR tortise accepted the pot of soup from the herbalist and was happy because his wife was going to give him a child. But instead of going home, he decided to stop by a tree bank and see what exactly was inside the pot. He opened the pot and he couldnt resist the sweet aroma from the pot.

"I will eat it all up and tell the herbalist that I broke the pot on my way home.". He should be able to give us another one. He thought. Mr Tortiose did not know that the herbalist had put a herb that will make his wife pregnant.

So, he ate the soup and went back to the herbalist with the lies. The herbalist who knows what he had done, made another one for him but refused to put the pregnancy herbs. He was happy and hurried back home.

The Herbalist asked them to return to him in four months. When the Tortoise got home, he handed his wife the pot of soup. They were happy, finally their prayers will be answered soonest.

One month past, two months, three months, yet no sign of pregnancy on Mrs Tortiose. Instead Mr Tortoise had all the signs of pregnancy. He would wake up late, be sick early morning, he looks pale and sometimes vomits. He had forgotten what he did.

Instead of paying attention to himself and finding out what was wrong, together with the wife, they angrily went to the herbalist to ask why the woman was not pregnant yet. To their surprise, the herbalist showed them what the Tortoise had done, three months ago. He made some incantations and displayed Mr Tortoise under the tree, eating the soup meant for his wife.

Although the Tortoise was sober, and begged that the soup be prepared again for the wife but the Herbalist was disappointed and asked them to leave. However, he told the Tortoise that he will die with the pregnancy. This made the wife sad and she ran off, went home and moved out of the Tortoise life .

The Tortoise went back in shame and became a public ridicule amongs his peers. He lost his marriage and soon he was going to loose his life.

MORAL LESSONS
i) We should not be greedy
ii) WE should be truthful
iii)We should learn to obey
iv)We should trust in God for the fruit of the womb, not a herbalist.
