Aw.. what a shame. Hermann had to give up his paradise and go wandering again. But then, if that hadn't happened, we might not get to hear his story.
Come to think of it, his 'stint' with the Apache and his training, had stood him in good stead. Can you imagine any sixteen year old kid now in Hermann's place?
Howdy today sir Vincent! That is so true, without the training he had he couldn't have lasted for long on his own because it was brutal, he said one more day and he couldn't have kept going before he found that canyon and that was days without water. No way he could have done that without all his training and conditioning.
