I know of a friend who drove drunk one night and he knocked into a motorcyclist and a pillion rider en route home. The two died and they just registered for their orientation in the morning at the local university. Someone's life just started and it was ended by a drunk driver.
Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is not even a serious thing in Nigeria. Can't remember if someone had been punished for DUI here. There should be a serious law set up to discourage driving under the influence.
Yes there shld be. Innocent lives must be protected.

you are right, imagine the lives that it would have saved. In South Korea the police officer would hang around pubs and if any drunk man were to enter a car as a driver, they would be prevented from doing so.
That's cool, the police would need a lot of manpower to hang around the thousands of pubs waiting the DUIs
