Going To Attend in Military Service

Hello dear Steemit fellas,

Unfortunately, I will not be here on Steemit for approximately 3 weeks due to prohibition of using smartphone in the military. So it is not only Steemit, I will not be able to post or stay updated on any social platform.

I honestly think it is a good excuse now as I haven't had this long break for quite a long time. So it will be good to test myself and go old school..

It is normally 12 months for non-educated people and 6 months for educated people. Shortly after the elections on June, a new law has been unveiled, "paid military service". For 15000 Turkish Lira, we could shorten our service duration into 21 days. The "paid military service" campaign has been applied in the past by the government as well. However, the ones in the past, did not require any attendance. It is clear to see the government chooses a way like this because they are economically weak and this campaign benefits them a lot.

What I find nonsense is the obligation for joining the army. In most of the countries, it is a voluntary thing, with a motivation, well, everyone likes to defend their country but if it is not necessary why would you sacrifice a 6 months of your life for not doing something efficient.

Dramatically, I am going on the coldest period of the year. As I hear many stories from the friends and some random people who have done this paid service earlier already, I think it won't be easy as we could think. It is possible I would be staying with 80-90 people in the same dormitory.:D

I already bought some things that were considered necessary and helpful..
