Another Owambe (Party) Story

Every party she hears about does not ever pass her by, whenever she hears any information about any party available, she will hurry there.
She attends those events and dances like never before, sometimes she gets sprayed and picks up the money,
On few occasions, she makes so much money to feed her for the entire week since people have the usual habit of spending so much during parties like that in Nigeria.

On other occasions, she will go with a warmer to put excess food inside and carefully keep it safe inside her big bag and rush home with it.

No one really noticed her and she continued in this habit for long until one day, she attended a wedding reception and as usual started picking the money, unknown to her that this wedding was for high classed people of the society and no one acts anyhow.

No one was picking the money being sprayed on the couple at that moment, but greed did not allow her to notice what was going on around her as she quickly bent down to start picking the money.

Some able-bodied men came to the scene and took her to the front of some officers of the law, they started asking her questions about her identity and since she could not answer, she started crying and begging.

A good Samaritan later came to beg for her and they let her go home, but that was after she got a good beating of her life.
That was the last party she attended without being invited.
