- Unplanned
Me and my friend stay at her home last Friday, we’ve just ate our lunch and starting chatting, we don’t have any plans to go outside. We just want to stay at home until….. I noticed one post and catched my attention on my FB account, I immediately showed to my friend, The post of my Facebook friend was a picture in the Grand Mosque.,My friend and I was amazed by the photo, we were wondering what was it looks, So we decided to go and visit the Grand Mosque :)
Going to Grand Mosque
We went down in the flat around 5: 00 pm and we’ve waited for the bus to arrive but sadly it took so long that's why we’ve decided to ride a taxi, it takes about 15mins. At exactly 5:40 pm we already arrived in Grand Mosque.
Outside of the Mosque cant wait to go inside :D
And of course we have to take a photo before we will enter.
- Grand Mosque
Here we are!!! We were so excited that time, wondering what’s inside, what to wear. So as we enter the area, we thought there is an entrance fee, but gladly it is free for everyone who wants to view the Mosque (great!) We went to a room only for ladies which they will check on you and you will wear abaya (abaya-traditional robe– this is free but make sure you will return it), just make sure that your whole body is covered including shoulders up to the ankle. You cannot enter the Mosque if you are not wearing abaya, you need to wear dress conservatively, Their rules before you can enter, do not wear skirt, shorts, sleeveless and ripped jeans. You also need to cover your hair with the hood of the abaya. After checking, we took a lot of pictures outside the mosque and enjoying the peaceful place of the mosque, the landscape, and the structure was so amazing. There are two ways to choose, for praying and for visitors, so as a visitor, we chose the area for visitors. As we are about to go inside, we saw a lot of people inside (public viewing). You need to remove your shoes before going inside the mosque (it is required and a sign of respect). As we enter, we felt the peacefulness and solemnity. We were so amazed, the walls and the structure are so brilliantly beautiful, we were so happy when we knew that cameras and cellphone are allowed inside, so we did not missed the chance to capture the beauty of Grand Mosque.
Inside the Mosque
Here's the Do’s and Don’t’s

Nakapunta na ako Jan 😃 maganda talaga jan, very solemn, ganda ng architecture, ganda chandelier, as in Grand mosque talaga.
I hope someone toured and explained you each and every piece inside of it... if not, suggest you to go back there in morning... they have tour guide... :)
when i visited that place, it gave me a lifetime memory of how bf's mom was laughing so hard at her husband - about how he looked wearing a kandura. but i honestly didn't understand what was funny. what was funny for me was how mama was laughing.
