Steemit.Life is to Short, Plant Mangrove Tree

Good day Steemit!
I just want to share a story. Last 2011 you have heard a tropical storm named Sendong who hits Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro which causes many lives dies.

LET'S MAKE THIS DREAM REALITY.

Bayug Island is one of the most affected area and we have a house there, my aunt with her child rent our house , every Friday we will visit and sleep there. It was December 16, 2011 when the rain was falling and my father told us that we will just go there tomorrow, and suddenly we heard a news that there are many missing people, houses washed out, and our house is one of them. Totally washed out and sad to know that my auntie's child died. The flood was not so big but because of the cable coming from illegal logging cause to blocked the flood.
For me and my family it is our 2nd life because if we continue to visit there on Friday we don't know where we are now.

For now, Its really a privilege to be a volunteer.

I'm at the center

Mangrove tree is really important, it can save lives,
no plant can beat the mangrove tree. It is planted for its environmental effectiveness and economic importance. For the environment, mangroves are more efficient in capturing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than any other tree which makes it a well sought planting material especially in the coastal areas.
