The dirty, English town of San Diego holds a secret.

Susan Jones has the perfect life working as a scout in the city and swimming with her incredible girlfriend, Kate Blunder.

However, when she finds a warped newspaper in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Jones family.

An accident leaves Susan with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to grand San Diego to find some answers.

At first the people of San Diego are hilarious and splendid. She is intrigued by the curiously down to earth computer programmer, Beth Jones. However, after she introduces her to hard Vaseline, Susan slowly finds herself drawn into a web of burglary, theft and perhaps, even murder.

Can Susan resist the charms of Beth Jones and uncover the secret of the warped newspaper before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another San Diego legend?
