The sleepy, country town of Athens holds a secret.

Charlotte Platt has the perfect life working as a navigator in the city and cooking with her lovable girlfriend, Georgina Superhalk.

However, when she finds a peculiar ruler in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Platt family.

An accident leaves Charlotte with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to noisy Athens to find some answers.

At first the people of Athens are intuitive and gentle. She is intrigued by the curiously adorable housekeeper, Pete Bond. However, after he introduces her to hard alcohol, Charlotte slowly finds herself drawn into a web of theft, lust and perhaps, even abduction.

Can Charlotte resist the charms of Pete Bond and uncover the secret of the peculiar ruler before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Athens legend?
