1.Our culture

India's culture is among the world's oldest; civilization in India began about 4,500 years ago. Many sources describe it as "Sa Prathama Sanskrati Vishvavara" — the first and the supreme culture in the world.
We have different festivals and different lifestyle to follow in India still we are one and called as ‘Indians’. This is what we have learnt ‘"Anekta mein Ekta" called as "unity in diversity"

2.Our Religions

It is a land of diversities. This diversity is also visible in the spheres of religion. The major religions of India are Hinduism (majority religion), Islam (largest minority religion), Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism and the Bahá'í Faith. India is a land where people of different religions and cultures live in harmony. This harmony is seen in the celebration of festivals. The message of love and brotherhood is expressed by all the religions and cultures of India.

4.Our Defence Power

India seems to be modernising its military and its nuclear capabilities keeping an eye on China. India's declared policy is of nuclear deterrence and no first strike. However, the modernisation program, particularly the ballistic missiles program, shows that India is intent on bringing the whole of China in its strike range.

Indian military has a combined 4,207,250 active and reserve personnel in service. Since resources like aircraft, personnel, helicopters etc are spread across the three services – Army, Air Force and Navy – we take a look at air power, ground strength and naval power. We also take a look at India’s nuclear capabilities.

5.Our Food and cuisines

A wide variety of spices play a key role in this dynamic cuisine, which is not as intimidating as it may seem.

India has a varied natural and culture heritage. The main reason of it is that India is a vast nation with different geographical and physical conditions. The history of India is thousands of years old. This culture has remanded a witness, to the change due to exchange of ideologies.
Many foreigners invaded India and were victorious. They settled down here and merged in the ocean of Indian culture. In this context, heritage is a precious gift from our ancestors. Heritage is natural as well as man-made. Its development has taken place along with the historic eras. On one hand, heritage is associated with place, province or region; on the other hand, it is associated with family and community. It is a special feature of the people and their identity.

8.Our different languages

India is a country of diversity yet you can yet find unity among them. This diversity is not only in their lifestyle, culture, tradition, food or dresses but also you can find different Languages in India State Wise from one place to another.

India is a country of very diverse languages. There is a proverb that in India at every 20 miles the language changes. On the surface, though it may look totally rustic, observers have found out that there are distinct changes in the dialect of the language spoken over approximately certain specific distance

As a citizen of India, I am proud to talk about it — India’s outstanding diversity of religions, languages and cultures is unique and unmatched. It has beautiful green crops that fill our land with greenery. It also has many rivers flowing through fertile soil, a variety of flowers, plants and animals. The Himalayas decorates India like a majestic crown. India has always been one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world. The people in India are warm and welcoming. It has many historical sites and was home to many famous people like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh and many more. I am proud that I was born here and I shall serve my country till I draw my very last breath.
