Adrenaline Friday night
We arrived late from work, we had to postpone the training time from 5.30pm to 7pm, she was a little sick, but the training was important. The streets were alone, lately the city looked more empty, it seemed that even the criminals had left.
The training was somewhat lax; the fatigue added to the sad atmosphere of the gym made any motivation to train fade in 40 minutes, so we decided go home early.
The exit of the place is in a neighborhood alley, there is not much light in that place, much less at that time, we went to the street in the direction of our destination when she saw a nice puppy in the other corner, was very well-kept to be a stray dog, so we decided to go see if he had lost someone.
The path that led to the animal was in another alley, when we arrived a couple of meters from the canine, its owner came out to look for it, we heard the detonation of something like a firerocks, it was strange because who was celebrating something that day? But we do not pay much attention to it.
We continued our way down that alley, we had not taken 3 steps when we heard: Grab him! We turn around and a shot sounds, the criminal falls, the weapon he was carrying in his hand falls one meter from my foot, my girlfriend pulls me, and we run.
I feel the adrenaline in my veins, time passed slowly, I think: Will we die? At least we are going to become invalid one of the two, but we kept running and, we were still alive, we arrived at an intersection between two streets, I imagined that if the criminal was being chased I would go running to another place, but I turn and it is not like that.
Apparently they were two thieves and, the second, was behind us, I thought: Do he intends to kidnap us and use us in his defense? Or what if they shoot again and this time the bullet hits us? My body injects more adrenaline, in a split second I had to make a decision, go straight to my house or cross over to my girlfriend's house.
My house was closer, but there they were asleep at that time, instead, my girlfriend's house was farther away, but there were about 3 people on the street, so if we came running, someone could warn and everyone would come out to help us.
I made my decision, we ran harder, the criminal was armed, maybe drugged. What if he had a fit of madness? In the blink of an eye we covered 100 meters, when her ankle was twisted.
--I can not continue--She exclaimed. I remembered that she was tired of training and also sick, I saw the criminal who looked like ran even faster than us and I told myself that in such a imperative moment nothing could stop us.
Thank God, a lady go out at the door of his house, I take my girlfriend as I can to the threshold of the home, when he sees people, the criminal was frightened and choose another way, at the moment we enter the house, all the neighbors go out to the street, it was something impressive, as it happened to be all alone and sinister to look like a fair, they were like 100 people who were outside.
Already inside and pass the effect of adrenaline, I realize how tired I'm, until now I had breathed calmly and calmly, but at that moment I began to breathe faster, it even cost me something to talk, my legs were tired. I reflected and: we ran like 300 meters in 30 seconds, Usain Bolt must have been proud of us.
Being the street a little quiet, I go out to, I see that there is an angry mob of people, I thought that they had captured the criminal, but apparently this one had dropped the gun and a nosy and reckless boy took it, almost they lynch him.
Then we found out that the person who was chasing the criminal was a policeman, which I thought was amazing. How is it possible that a police officer shot the criminal if we're in front of him? It seems irresponsible on their part, we could have ended up very hurt, not to say dead.
This is a real story (it happened on Friday, May 18), another day in Venezuela, I hope you liked it and that it was entertaining, do not usually write this way, and I'm learning English. Any criticism, make it reach my Discord @julioccorderoc#9500.
Greetings.

Greetings from Mexico.
Saludos!
Hola @ julioccordero- Me gusto tu Historia, Esta bien redactada, Original.
Congratulations on your new job!
Gracias! ¿Cómo que lo cambió? Eso es lo que quería decir. Saludos:)
