Besuki subdistrict is a town in Situbondo, East Java, Indonesia. In ancient times, the town is important because it is the capital of the Regency Besuki.


At the time of Majapahit, Besuki is a growing area and known as Keta ever along with Sadeng do revolt against the Majapahit Kingdom but defeated by Gajah Mada. These events occurred in the year 1331.
