RE: Echoes of Tommorrow's Past - Part 13 (My Original Novella)

There's something unsettling about knowing you're about to die. That survival mentality, trying to prevent what seems to be inevitable is certainly something I would revert to myself. The dynamic between them is so heartrending, and it's good of Dolores to be sticking with him through this trying time. I imagine it would be hard seeing the person you love degrade like this. She must feel so powerless, even though a possible solution is just within her reach.

Powerful stuff, brother. You get me every time. I feel the tension is coming to a head soon, so I'm definitely bracing for that :D

Hey there, my brother!

It's a subject that scares me to the very core. Coming to terms with the fact you're life will soon be reaching an end. How would you react? How would you think? I can't even envisage that but people are experiencing it at this very moment. Hence my character James and his inability to decide upon his next course of action. Every path he sees seemingly leads to his demise. Possibly due to not accepting his situation, but he still believes he has time to plan what to do next. Fear and depression force us into corners which appear to provide no means of obvious escape. This is how he's feeling. Desperate, frightened and confused. Dolores is coming across as she only knows how (tough love?), but there's only so much she can do. The final decision is down to him.

Thanks for following me on the journey through my latest work. I've planned this one out to the very end and must admit, am very excited to reveal the finale and conclusion.

Bless you, my brother and thanks for the great feedback! :)

If that's what you're trying to portray then... you have done so quite effectively, brother! I never expect anything less. You raise the bar high with every chapter you post :D
