RE: The Allies of Old; Book Two Renewal: Chapter Fifty Nine "Confessions"

in #story7 years ago

Couldn't Jess just, y'know, tell the Brothers Three that she ran into this guy who knew her and it helped jog her memory? See, this chapter right here is a perfect bookend for the three-part Jess/Nate arc. The arc had a perfect length and this chapter was very pointed. It was very snappy, and what was needed to be done by the end of it was clear.

This really made me wish that Harri never got that vision. Would be interesting how the girls would've mourned for her. That way she wouldn't have needed to feel sorry for her time. Jess really didn't need to apologize for anything. It's great that she was able to craft an alternate identity and just let loose, away from the shadow of her sister. That really gave her a chance to shine and be her own person. It was good for the character in general.

On her end, she thought everyone had given up on her, that's why she took her time in revealing she survived, if she would ever reveal it. Sure, she missed Jenna's father's funeral, that's a downside, but she shouldn't feel sorry for being free.

I always love reading your take on a situation ;) Actually, I've told you that many of my characters, the girls in particular, are based on real life people. To the best of my knowledge this is how it would truly go down. ...hm, you might actually appreciate Anna for once coming up :)

Haha! I'm open for her redemption any time! :D
