We're on the same boat, direction-wise. In solidarity, I chose to write a story that I have yet to know the ending to. It's exhilarating, isn't it? There's some comfort in not knowing where the story leads to. Having to solve problems as you go is risky, but it's hella rewarding. Your story seems to be on the right track though, so just keep at it!
