A Newspaper Seller Story
In the eastern horizon, the sun is not yet visible. The air in the morning was cold. Nature is still blanketed in the morning dew. A boy riding his bicycle in the middle of a still-empty street. Who is the child? He is a newspaper seller, called Ipiin.
By five o'clock in the morning, he had reached the newsagent's place from several publishers. "Take how many Ipiin?" Asked Bang Ipul. "Ordinary." Ipiin replied. Bang Ipul picked up a number of newspapers and magazines Ipiin used to bring to his customers. When he was done, he set out.
He went to his loyal customers. From one house to another. That's the job of Ipiin every day. Delivering the newspaper to its customers. All that he did with joy, sincerity and sense of responsibility.
When Ipiin was referring to his bicycle, he was suddenly startled by an object. The object is a black plastic package. Ipiin so trembling. What is it? He hesitated and was frightened because of the frequent bombings everywhere. Ipiin was worried it was a bomb. But in the end, he tried to open the package.
There was a cardboard inside the package. "Whoa, what's in it?" He asked silently. Ipiin immediately unwrapped the package carefully. What a surprise he was, because in it there are gold necklaces and other jewelry. "What is this?" He asked silently. "Who is it?" Ipiin flicked through the rings and necklaces in the box. He was even more shocked because there was a credit card in it. "Well, this is Mr. Edison's. It's a pity for Mr. Edison that he has been stolen, "he murmured to himself.
What Ipiin predicted was right. Mr. Edison's house had been thrown overnight. Because the thief was in a hurry, the jewelry package he had collected fell. Ipiin immediately notified Mr. Edison. He told what happened and he found out. How glad Mr. Edison is because his wife's jewelry has returned. He was so grateful, the jewelry fell into the hands of honest people.
As a thank you, Mr. Edison gave the capital to Ipiin to open a kiosk at his home. Now Ipiin no longer have to pedal a bicycle to peddle newspapers. He is just waiting for buyers to come to shop. As for sending newspapers and magazines to its customers, Ipiin replaced by his brother who happens to have no job. That is the end of an honesty that will bring happiness in the future.
Conclusion
A child of a newspaper seller who is always honest and sincere doing his daily work to help his parents and to increase his school fees ... because he is an honest child and helps his parents get help in the form of a shop of his own, to sell newspapers.
