Lost in the Woods: A Tale of the Witch's Lair | Scary Horror Stories
Once upon a time, there was a group of friends who loved to explore the nearby woods. One day, they decided to go on an adventure deep into the forest, but soon they realized they were lost. Night was falling and they were scared, so they built a fire to keep warm. Suddenly, they heard the sound of footsteps coming closer and closer, but when they turned to see who it was, no one was there.
As the night went on, strange things started to happen. They heard eerie whispers and cackles, and soon they realized that they were being watched by a witch. She appeared in front of them, cackling with a wicked smile, and said, "I've been waiting for you children. You will never leave this place."
The children were petrified, but they knew they had to find a way out. They tried to run, but the witch was always one step ahead, blocking their path. She cast spells on them, making them see terrifying visions and hear ghostly whispers. They were completely lost, both in the woods and in their minds.
As dawn broke, the children stumbled upon a small cabin. They were overjoyed to find shelter, but their relief was short-lived. They soon realized that the cabin was the witch's lair, and they were trapped. The witch appeared, laughing maniacally as she cast a spell to make the children fall into a deep sleep.
The children never woke up. Some say their spirits still wander the woods, searching for a way out, while others say the witch still haunts the cabin, waiting for her next victims. To this day, no one ventures too deep into the woods, for fear of being caught by the witch and never being seen again.
