Great addition to the story. I like how it is developing. It is interesting how the ideas of flow and fragmentation merge and colide in this fantasy about gender reconfigurations.
Human development through technology seems to be inevitably destined to keep denying humanity's natural urges, from sexuality to agression (either as a self-defense mechanism or as an animalistic impulse for control).
You have created powerful images here of a possibility of revising and understanding our fragmented thoughts. Unfortunatelly that does not seem to eliminate conflicts, especially among the sexes.
Human emotions seem to prevail.
That might explain we "fools" keep raising and falling in love.
