Save the Flux

 The Flux Capacitor is a community/volunteer run Private event center, hosting private events ranging from music, art, discussion, and fundraising. Most of us in the city of Colorado Springs have spent an evening at The Flux with friends, listening to live local or out of town music acts and being inspired by the deep DO-IT-YOURSELF community of Colorado Springs. We all have a lot for which to thank Bryan and Sean Ostrow and all of the volunteers at The Flux.
As we all know, The building that housed The Flux Capacitot was very recently declared unfit to occupy as a venue due to fire department code violations. Although they wanted to keep this venue alive, Bryan and Sean have been faced with the reality that the modifications to the building required by fire codes will be impossible to make.
The good news is that Bryan and Sean have not given up. The Flux is very much alive and living within all of us, the DIY community of Colorado Springs. The Flux Family is looking for a new place to occupy; a place that will host local and out of town music acts, art events, fundraisers, and even the occasional wedding after party gone wild.
What is needed is YOU. Your donations will ensure that The Flux Family is able to secure and pay for the very music venue that will keep the community alive and together even if it's hanging on by the skin of one bloody, dripping claw. So please donate: five bucks, ten bucks, one hundred bucks. Let's let the Flux Family do what we know they do best and then let's all celebrate with a beer! Do this for yourselves.
