RE: Autism, Scripting and a Story I Tell Myself
Thanks @shawnamawna ! Same here !
I do not necessarily feel the pain - of others - I just know how it feels - like a memory - though I do not believe in reincarnation at all. But built into us, are the memories and experiences of the generations before us.
The sensing of things can lead me to wanting to flee the scene. If I can't, I tend to give just minimal contributions - if any.
Oppositional Defiance - yeah! This has my heart dance. I am a rebel - always have been. I don't like to blindly follow - or believe things, though I can be quite gullible. Making own rulz ... as long as no one get's hurt or negatively impacted -- that's the key. Learning that providing value to others and self is an art that is so multi-dimensional in its practice....
Feeling the actual pain is a well documented -especially with Christian intercessors - though personally, I think taking on the pain is unnecessary - as Christ has already done so. Thing is, one can protect oneself from physically suffering or even acquiring an ailment. It's not necessary to suffer in proxy for the person to experience recovery. Anyway - going way out on the subject.

I love the idea that we don't need to feel the pain of others (because it has already been carried for us). I've never thought of that, and I'm going to work on applying it to myself when it happens.
Yeah!!! Awesome... His yoke is easy... :)
