I've enjoyed the story very much. It has been my favorite story so far in my short Steemit experience.
One thing that I thought about along the way though, is it pays to pace these serializations out over a period of weeks. The curation guilds are picking stories on a daily basis, but they can't pick the same ones every day. It is necessary to rotate around a number of authors.
I know you are not completely motivated by the rewards, but I think you could improve your experience by timing your releases. It could have been an 'every Tuesday' thing. Something that people could plan ahead for and be expectant of.
I hope you turn 'the Kid' into a fictionalized story now. :-)
Thank you so very much, I'm happy that you enjoyed it. I just want it over now. As you will see in my last entry, this is my confession. Nobody knows this story, not even my children. I just wanted to get this off my chest before I die.
I'm getting burned out...thanks will fix!
