Tenali rama or thenali rama is the name that remain unknown to whole world until doordarshan channel in India came with serial based on Tenali rama. Tenali rama or tenali ramkrisna is not fiction character but he exist in real in tenali town during Vijayanagar empire in India.
At that time, He was famous all over India because of his wisdom and poetry. He has attained the status of Vikata kavi in the empire of vijaynagar.

Tenali rama (thenali rama) was born in 16 century in tenali town. It is one of town in Andhra pradesh. From birth tenali rama as child was very lazy and naughty and used to pass his time playing with the village children.
If any time left, he used to pass that by sleeping. Like all mother, tenali mother was also worrying about his child education. Once, a great sage, pitying on his mother,gave tenali goddess kali mantra and told him to chant continuously it 100 times before goddess kali .
